In C.S. Lewis third book in the Chronicles of Narnia (The horse and His Boy), Bree (the horse) and Shasta (the boy) planned to runaway to the North and to Narnia...the perfect escape to their terrible lives. Bree asked Shasta if he could ride a horse. But of course, Shasta was not an expert. Being an errand boy all his life, he just rode donkeys. So Bree asked something like this question instead "If you can't ride, can you fall? Can you fall....and get up once again...without crying...and mount again without feeling afraid of falling again?"
So, that night when I was "room alone" and "house alone," I asked myself the same question. "Can I fall? Can I fall and get up once again?"
It finally dawned on me that, right now, my answer can't bring me to my own Narnia...
